Rich Bisaccia was named the interim head coach in the wake of Gruden’s exit and led the team to a playoff berth. Following the team’s wild-card loss to the Bengals earlier this month, the Raiders announcedMcDaniels and the Patriots made it to the playoffs this year with first-year quarterback Mac JonesMcDaniels, who famously spurned the Colts in 2018 to return to New England, also reached the wild-card round this year.
