RICS said that rising demand and dwindling supply meant that rental prices are expected to increase by an average of 5 per cent in the next year rose 5.7 per cent year-on-year in September, up from 5.6 per cent in July, the largest annual increase since theAnnual private rental prices increased by 5.6 per cent in England, 6.9 per cent in Wales and 6 per cent in Scotland last month.
