Her Majesty debuted a new outfit that honored Scotland with symbolic touches while attending a military parade and ceremony in Edinburgh on Tuesday.
Her Majesty loves a regal purple moment.
Queen Elizabeth is visiting Scotland for her annual Holyrood Week, during which she honors Scottish culture — and she brought out a gorgeous new outfit to celebrate the occasion. Smiling widely as she watched the Act of Loyalty military parade at Edinburgh’s Palace of Holyroodhouse yesterday, the 96 year old paid tribute to the nation as she debuted a lilac coat with sparkling maroon buttons and a symbolic brooch.
Decked out in the color of the Scottish heather plant — a famous symbol of the country — Her Majesty added a stunning diamond brooch featuring the national flower, an amethyst thistle, at the top, surrounded by diamond leaves along with emerald accents.
