The final draft of what the district is calling its strategic management plan will be presented to the board at the end of the month.
“Enchilada Wednesday” is a tradition at SAISD that might date all the way back to the 1940s, according to some sources. In this 2000 file photo, Leticia Pietro and Sylvia Lopez, food service assistants, serve the meal to a kindergarten class as Sara Trejo, cafeteria manager, guides them through.“Enchilada Wednesday” will extend way beyond the lunch hour tonight, to a public conversation about the future of the San Antonio Independent School District.
After postponing the event due to weather last week, district officials are hosting “Always Learning: A Gathering of Community Voices,” at the Alamo Convention Center this evening, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
