PSNI officers have carried out a search close to where Natalie McNally was murdered
The police team conducted the operation in the area around Silverwood Golf Club, with officers first arriving on the scene shortly before 12pm today.
The search was conducted in fields at Turmoyra Lane which runs along side the Silverwood development where Natalie lived. No statement has been issued by the PSNI yet regarding the search and it is unclear if anything has been found.Providing an update on the murder investigation on January 5, DCI Neil McGuinness confirmed a suspected murder weapon had been found.
Detectives have also conducted more than 200 house-to-house enquiries, seized 3,000 hours of CCTV footage and have submitted more than 50 items for forensic examination. Natalie McNally, 32, was 15 weeks pregnant when she suffered a “violent death” in her own home in the Silverwood Green area of Lurgan on December 18.For all the latest news, visit the Belfast Live homepage here.
