Princess Anne Takes a Sustainable Fashion Tour, with a Royal Visit to Untouched World in Christchurch - thread
Her Royal Highness Princess Anne has concluded her New Zealand visit with a private behind-the-scenes tour of New Zealand fashion house Untouched World on Friday afternoon, in Christchurch.
“A lot of people worked hard to make the visit happen for Her Royal Highness, and we are very grateful to them all. The preparation and security detailing was comprehensive”, says Untouched World Founder and CEO Peri Drysdale. HRH, The Princess Royal visits the city of Christchurch, NZ. During her time there, she attends a rededication service for the Citizen’s War Memorial, visits the Royal Agricultural Society, as well as Untouched World Merino and Natural Fibre Workrooms and ends the day at Willowbank Wildlife Reserve. The Princess Royal, Sir Timothy Laurence and the Delegation were transported from Wellington to Christchurch on a RNZAF Boeing.
“She has a keen interest in sustainability and remarked on how early we were in developing a sustainable business model . She is also fascinated by wool and fibres and was particularly curious about the research and development taking place” says Mrs Drysdale.
