Prince William and Duchess Kate spoke during an interview Friday morning, discussing everything from how their family is coping during the coronavirus pandemic to sharing appreciation for front-line workers.
The prince said he"was quite concerned" when his father,"I have to admit, at first I was quite concerned. He fits the profile of somebody, at the age he is at, which is fairly risky," Prince William said.
Prince William is also concerned about his grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. "I think very carefully about my grandparents, who are at the age they're at, and we're doing everything we can to make sure that they're isolated away and protected from this."addressed the nation and called on the U.K. to rise to the challenge of the pandemic.
How are Prince William and Duchess Kate otherwise coping? It's been ups and downs just like any other family, Kate says, sharing advice on how to talk to children about the pandemic: "Although you don't want to scare them and make it too overwhelming, I think it is appropriate to acknowledge it in the simple ways and in age-appropriate ways."
