Robert Irwin, son of late conservationist Steve Irwin, announced one of the five winners of Prince William's third annual Earthshot Prize awards ceremony in Singapore
Robert Irwin, son of the late wildlife conservationist Steve Irwin, has praised Prince William for "making environmental issues mainstream". He shared these words while attending the Earthshot awards ceremony.
Adding further praise, he said: "I'd say he's really at the very forefront, leading the charge and pioneering a new path." Prince William, who chose to re-wear his green velvet Alexander McQueen blazer that he previously wore for the 2021 Earthshot Prize awards, made his entrance on the green carpet. Bebe Rexha, Bastille and OneRepublic are set to perform, while Earthshot Prize Council member Sir David Attenborough will make a video appearance. The prince will conclude the show with a speech celebrating this year's Earthshot Prize finalists and delivering a message of hope and optimism.
