Head teacher Michelle Lake said: “We were so proud of all of our children as the whole school community came together to think about everyone across the world whose lives have been torn apart by war.“Earlier this year, we collected donations for the people in Ukraine, which made today even more meaningful for our children.The kids talked about how the day is marked across the world, shared stories of soldiers in different regiments during the world wars and read poems.
