The Red Lion Inn in Llanasa has been shut since 2020
The Red Lion Inn, a Grade II listed pub situated in the village of Llanasa, has seen its price slashed as Heineken's UK pub company aims to sell off the property. The historic pub, which closed its doors back in 2020, was initially set for a transformation into a "premium traditional pub" by Star Pubs and Bars, the pub division of Heineken.
They added: "The decision was regrettably made having revisited the costs required to reopen The Red Lion as a leased and tenanted pub. Unfortunately, these now make it no longer viable for our model." It gained recognition as a public house in the 1871 Ordnance Survey and was officially listed in 2001, reports North Wales Live.
