Preston City Council savings depend on how interest rates affect Animate borrowing plansThe Great British Housing Crisis – A Photography Exhibition features the work of photographer Ash Hardman and will go on display at the North West Design Collective’s SHOP, on Syke Street, from Thursday 14 March. We went to find out more.“I always find this a difficult question to answer,” he says, “as I started making photos on family holidays when I was about seven.
These days SHOP is used as a community events space, gallery, film set, yoga studio, music venue, meeting room, workshop area, and photography studio.“I did an exhibition about Play using photography as a way of interacting and engaging in our shared public spaces,” he says.
“I had many questions, so I began pointing my camera at the new developments. I’m now at a point in the project where I thought it would be a good idea to put some of the work into the public domain as an invitation for open discussion at SHOP.” Sign up below to receive Blog Preston's email newsletter.
