Emergency services were called to Longridge Road in the Ribbleton area of Preston at 6.15pm last night . Lancashire Constabulary said the road was closed in both directions between the motorway bridge and Tustin Way.
An update at 12.54am this morning said: "**ROAD RE-OPENED** Earlier we advise that LONGRIDGE ROAD, RIBBLETON was closed due to a RTC."We can confirm the road is now fully re-opened. Thank you for your patience whilst we dealt with the incident." A force spokesperson told LancsLive: "It was a collision between a car and a motorbike. Call came at 6.15pm.No details have been released about the bikers injuries. LancsLive has contacted North West Ambulance Service for comment.
