The Premium Bonds prize fund rate has increased for the third month in a row
Deputy Money Editor, to 3.3 per cent, up from 3.15 per cent.
The hike, which is effective from March’s draw, means there will be around £15million more in prizes up for grabs., reaching a 14 year high, having raised it from 2.2 to 3 per cent on January 1.
The number of £50 prizes will also jump from 1.28 million to 1.4 million, however, the number of £25 prizes will fall from 2.38 million to 2.13 million.
