A driver was pulled over Aug. 3 for traveling 100 mph on Interstate 77 near the Rockside Road exit. A passenger in the car claimed to be 34 weeks pregnant and on her way to the hospital. EMS was called to transport the woman and the man was given field sobriety tests due to his “erratic and somewhat incoherent speech.” He failed the tests, refused to take a breath test and was arrested for operating a motor vehicle impaired.
