The retailer has revealed the list of locations for new stores and Wilko rebrands that it plans to open by the end of the year.
Poundland has revealed the list of stores that it plans to open and relocate by the end of this year - including its Wilko takeovers.
Included in the list of Wilko takeovers being rebranded as Poundland is be a store in Greenock, which is set to open its doors to the public on November 4. As reported by the Mirror, Poundland has announced it will convert 19 former Wilko stores over the next two weeks, bringing the total number of conversions to 56. The retailer has also offered employment to over 500 former Wilko colleagues, after promising it would give priority to its employees in new stores.
"But we’re working at this pace because we’re on a mission–ambitious to grow, create jobs and serve new communities by opening shops customers and communities can be proud of."
