The FBI is reportedly involved in the inquiry into about 10 documents found at the Penn Biden Center.
The US justice department is reviewing potentially classified documents found in President Joe Biden's former office at a think tank, the White House says.
A source familiar with the matter told CBS News the batch did not contain nuclear secrets and had been contained in a folder in a box with other unclassified papers. Mr Sauber said: "Since that discovery [of the documents], the president's personal attorneys have co-operated with the [National] Archives and the Department of Justice in a process to ensure that any Obama-Biden Administration records are appropriately in the possession of the Archives."
