Postdoctoral Associate- Cancer Epigenetics
A Postdoctoral Associate position is available in the lab of Dr. Tao Wu in the Department of Molecular and Human Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine . The Wu lab focuses on the dynamic epigenetic regulation and the mechanisms underlying cancer progression and therapeutic resistance; in particular, the functional mechanisms of RNA and DNA methylation.
We apply multiple wet lab techniques, such as single-cell multi-omics profiling, single-molecule sequencing, as well as dry lab genomics and bioinformatics approaches in cancer model systems.We are seeking a Postdoctoral Associate whose research will study the epigenetic mechanisms underlying cancer acquired drug-resistance, and the epigenetic mechanisms in the cell stress response regulation . Training background should be in molecular biology, cell biology, cancer biology, and genomics.
