Bethan Meredith and her neighbours have not been getting letters and parcels delivered for some months
A woman has issued a postal warning after she has had problems getting her mail and parcels for months. Bethan Meredith had branded the situation as 'unacceptable' and said her neighbours have also been having issues.
Bethan says the post turns up sporadically and months after it was sent. She is calling for it to be resolved ahead of Christmas, and has contacted Royal Mail as well as her local MP in the hopes that the problem will be looked into ASAP. “People are going down to the depot to get mail but if you are not able to then you will not get it. People are not going to know if they need to pay bills.”
"As a result, people have missed crucial hospital appointments, not been able to receive essential documents such as bank cards, important bills, and faced DVLA issues, amongst other problems.” Bethan said it is not just her road that is affected by the issue and has seen other people complaining about the lack of post on local Facebook pages.
