Students at Portland State University in Oregon held a protest on Friday evening, calling for their school to cut ties with Boeing.

Students at Portland State University on Friday, April 26, 2024, protest the school's affiliation with Boeing , which sells weapons to the U.S. military and Israel .

On Friday, PSU’s president, Ann Cudd, responded to the student concerns and confirmed the school is pausing its relationship with Boeing. “I can’t focus on my school anymore with this going on and seeing my fellow classmates who have their families being massacred,” said Dometrius.‘We just want to be here long enough to get the school to stop being complicit in the genocide,” said Dometrius.“We see these protests around the country, Columbia, USC and elsewhere, and they're calling for a ceasefire," said Bob Horenstein, who is the director of public relations for the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland.
