The future of the Chorleywood pub appeared to be in doubt after the previous owners handed in their six months’ notice, Greene King confirmed a new partner had been found to take over the 18th century building.
The White Horse, in Rickmansworth Road, is now under new ownership and set to open next Friday as part of a soft launch ahead of the full opening on the Monday . The new owners said customers will immediately notice the “beloved local establishment” now has a “modernized interior design”, which is still being finalised.
They added that the"new look" pub will still be “keeping all the charming, traditional elements that make The White Horse such a special place”. It has been given a fresh coat of paint and new furniture alongside a few other renovations"to bring the space into the 21st century”.
