One headliner will be making their first public appearance in over 20 years.

That’s Olympia, Wash.-based punk trio Bratmobile. The band, which formed in 1991 when they played their first-ever show at the legendary North Shore Surf Club alongside Bikini Kill and Some Velvet Sidewalk, became well-known for revolutionizing the riot grrrl movement with songs like “Cool Schmool” and “Love Thing,” as well as their feminist fanzine “Girl Germs.”
Bratmobile was the brainchild of Allison Wolfe and Molly Neuman, who became friends in the dorms at the University of Oregon and later joined forces with Erin Smith, whom they had met on a trip to Washington, D.C. Following the band’s first split in 1994, Neuman moved to the Bay Area and went on tothe co-owner and vice president of Berkeley label Lookout! Records and managed Palo Alto-based rock band The Donnas.
