Barrio will be opening up in Watford, replacing the former Bosleys venue.
Barrio, a food and drink venue that currently runs five bars in the capital, will be moving into the Bosleys building in The Parade.
Owners Nightcap have officially announced that the ground and first floor venue of around 7,825 square feet should open this year.The operator has said that it will feature a “large” outside terrace area and it will be the second Barrio to open up since it acquired the brand last year.
“Our new Barrio is ideally located in the centre of Watford and is a perfect fit for Barrio with its vibrant and colourful mix of Latino-inspired drinks, music and atmosphere. Who doesn't like margaritas and tacos?!"confirmed that an offer was accepted for the former Bosleys building since the pub closed in February.
Fleurets, which was letting the property at 107-115 The Parade, had the site listed for £120,000 per year, with terms available for up to 15 years. After Bosleys shut, a spokesperson for the Stonegate Group said: “Our lease has come to an end and the building has been returned to our landlord.”
