The Holiday Snack Bar and Beach Haven disagreed on the number of outdoor seats that should be allowed.
Borough officials have conditionally approved the Holiday Snack Bar’s mercantile license for the 2023-24 season, officials said Wednesday.
The conflict centers on the number of seats allowed for outdoor dining at the 75-year-old restaurant on the corner or Centre Street and North Delaware Avenue in a residential neighborhood. The extra seating outside as well as outdoor games next to residential property caused neighbors to complain, the borough said.
