A SCOTTISH pub has been praised for cancelling its annual Eurovision screening after it received complaints from regular customers over Israel’s inclusion in the competition.
However, after the post received backlash from customers, bosses posted an update saying that the event was cancelled. “We show Eurovision every year because it’s unifying, joyful and daft. It’s not going to have that vibe this year, so we’ll find something else to do instead.The decision was praised by social media users for “acting on principle”.
