The owners of Raja Rani took to social media to confirm that they would have to close after a fire broke out just minutes before they were due to open for the day.
Emergency services were called to Raja Rani in Bearsden on Sunday afternoon following reports of a blaze. Six fire engines and an aerial appliance rushed to the scene around 11.50am to bring the fire under control.
Bosses said: “We are very sad to let you know that there has been a fire incident at the restaurant so we will remain closed today.
