The Royal British Legion has confirmed volunteers are 'keen to get on with collecting'
Collectors are expected to return to London’s Victoria, Kings Cross, St Pancras International, London Bridge, after being absent from them at lunchtime on Wednesday But the Royal British Legion has confirmed volunteers are “keen to get on with collecting” and all major London stations will feature poppy sellers across Remembrance weekend.
Poppy Appeal collectors at Charing Cross station have thanked people for their support but said they were unharmed during the protest at the station last Saturday and are happily back out collecting. understands safety measures are in place to protect individuals who give their time to raise money for the Poppy Appeal.
