The Poorly Drawn Pet fundraiser goes toward helping the Tacoma Humane Society care for around 10,000 animals per year.
The fundraiser where people get a funny, poorly drawn picture of their pet is back!
“We have some dedicated volunteers standing by, eager to turn your animal into a timeless work of art, or at least make you laugh!” said the Humane Society for Tacoma and Pierce County on Thursday. Some of the artists are skilled and some aren’t, but the donations go toward helping the shelter care for around 10,000 animals per year.
“We rely on donations to make that work possible, but it doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun while we raise those funds!” said the shelter. Between 8 a.m. Thursday, April 6 and the afternoon of Friday April 7, you can donate $20 to get a drawing of your pet
