Jaguars can't actually purr.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Jungle Cruise's jaguar scenes get put under the microscope by mountain lion expert Mark Elbroch, and the movie doesn't do a lot right. Based on the Disney theme park attraction of the same name, director Jaume Collet-Serra's Jungle Cruise stars Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt.
The expert points out a number of things are not true to the real-life behavior of jaguars, including the fact that the animal cannot purr as portrayed in the movie. Check out Elbroch's full comment below: “If that were a real fight and the jaguar were truly to bite down, it could quite literally bite through his arm.
