Police in Suffolk ask Halloween revellers to be mindful of people who do not want to be disturbed.
People celebrating Halloween are being asked to be mindful of those who do not want to be visitedHalloween revellers have been warned to "keep any tricks within the law" by Suffolk Police.
The force has also advised people not to "trick or treat" alone, to stay in well-lit areas, wear bright clothing visible to traffic and not go inside strangers’ houses.With Bonfire Night approaching, they have also been reminded that it is illegal to sell fireworks to anyone under the age of 18. Suffolk’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Tim Passmore, said: “Trick-or-treating can be great fun, and I don’t want to spoil that fun, but I would ask those taking part to be sensible, keep safe and be respectful to others.
“For those on the receiving end of trick or treaters, particularly the old and vulnerable, it can be quite an upsetting experience."
