CCTV images have been released today
Officers have released a series of CCTV images following a string of alcohol thefts from a Tesco. Greater Manchester Police wants to speak to the man in these images, following a number of thefts at the store on Cross Street, in Hindley, Wigan.
Detectives say the thefts involve 'high-value' alcohol and usually take place on a weekend. The most recent theft took place on Saturday, March 9. GMP says the man in the images has been captured on CCTV at the store three times. He has been seen in both work uniform and in normal clothing.On March 9, he was captured on CCTV with a 'distinctive tattoo on his left forearm'. GMP believes the man in the images may be able to help officers with their enquiries following the spate of thefts.
The force released the CCTV images today . Anyone who recognises him is asked to call GMP on 101 or get in touch online, using the Live Chat function on the force's website.
