Cleveland police released additional findings from the department’s investigation into two recent shootings involving officers from outside jurisdictions.

The separate shootings that involved officers from the Maple Heights Police Department and Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority are under investigation by the city of Cleveland because of where the incidents occurred.

The officer was chasing the suspect into Cleveland because it was believed he was shooting into homes in Maple Heights.at police.Officials said police initially responded to the complex because a man was throwing objects from his apartment balcony. He wasCleveland police said both cases are still under investigation and special prosecutors from the Ohio Attorney General’s Office to review the cases.
