Police still hunting gunman after suspected shooting at pub as window smashed
Police are still hunting for a gunman after a suspected shooting at a pub in Urmston on Sunday night . A window was seen smashed at the Nags Head, Lostock Road, after a suspected firearms discharge was reported.
In an update, Greater Manchester Police has confirmed that no arrests have been made in relation to the incident and that the force are still appealing for witnesses as part of ongoing enquiries.Police said they found a window had been left damaged, which was pictured at the scene along with forensics. Tactical Aid Unit officers were also inspecting the area outside the pub.
Detective Inspector Matt Dixon, of GMP’s Trafford District, said on Monday: "We are keeping an open mind in relation to how the damage has been caused. There will be an increased police presence in the surrounding area as we carry out our enquiries today and I would encourage anyone who feels they have information that can assist us to please approach our officers.
