Police: Sinkhole forces road closure in residential El Cajon neighborhood [Breaking]
A stretch of road in a residential neighborhood has been closed after a sinkhole opened up, El Cajon police said Saturday.Mundy Terrace will be closed to drivers from just south of Petree Street to Wyatt Place until Monday, police said. People will still be able to walk to and from their homes.Crews from the city’s Public Works Department and Helix Water Department responded to the site.
UPDATE: The road will remain closed to all vehicle traffic from 740 Mundy Terrace to Wyatt PL in El Cajon until Monday 3/20/2023. Residents are still able to walk to and from their homes.
