Eric Manzanares, 22, also faces charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons-related offenses in the Aug. 27 attack, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
Police rushed to reports of gunfire around 1:20 a.m. at Top Tier Hookah Lounge on Hooper Avenue, Billhimer and Toms River Police Chief Mitchell A. Little said in a joint statement. Officers found three men shot.
An investigation by the prosecutor’s office’s major crime unit, Toms River police and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office “determined that Manzanares was responsible for the shooting of all three victims,” Billhimer said.
