Leon Gathers, 42, of Garfield, was last seen leaving his home on foot on Feb. 16, police said.
Police are searching for an adult who was last seen two months ago.
Leon Gathers, 42, of Garfield, was last seen leaving his home on foot on Feb. 16, Garfield Police Capt. Mario Pozo said. He does not own a vehicle and is not known to drive, police said. Gathers is 6 feet tall and about 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, officials said. He has scars above his nose and left eyebrow and tattoos on his forearms that say “Tina” and “BBD,” according to police.
He was last seen wearing an orange Champion brand hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and tan work boots, authorities said. Police are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to call Detective Lt. Thomas LaMantia at 973-478-8500, ext. 4116.
