Four people have been charged, and more arrests are possible as an investigation continues into stolen vehicles and car parts in Jefferson and Shelby counties.
Four people have been charged with operating a Chop Shop and other crimes in connection with an investigation into stolen cars and car parts that were discovered in Bessemer earlier this week.
Lt. Christian Clemons said the search was the result of the investigation into thefts in Bessemer and surrounding areas. Authorities recovered several stolen cars and car parts.- Roderick D. Jackson, 20, four counts of first-degree receiving stolen property, operation a chop shop, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of the state firearms act. He is being held without bond.
