Police confirmed Claire was traced on Wednesday morning.
Cops have confirmed a Scottish police officer who was reported missing has been traced "safe and well".
Claire Drainey had been reported missing from Carluke in Lanarkshire. The 35-year-old was last seen at 1.35pm on Tuesday, March 12 leaving a supermarket on Lanark Road.Her worried partner, Gary Thomson, shared an appeal on social media, urging anybody with information on her whereabouts to come forward.
Writing on Facebook, he said: "My missus Claire Drainey, 35, has been missing since 1342hrs this afternoon. I am worried sick and police have been called.Mr Thomson confirmed Claire worked for Police Scotland and claimed she was being 'hassled' by another man and had reached 'breaking point'. He added: "She has reached breaking point today and I fear the worst. Please get in touch or call 101 if you see Claire or her vehicle. Thanks."
