A suspect is in police custody after shots were fired at the fair in Amarillo, Texas.
The Potter County Sheriff's Office confirmed that a shooting took place at the fair in Amarillo on Monday night, according to KFDA.
An officer was shot, the station reported, but their condition was not immediately known. A suspect is in police custody. One witness who told KFDA they were nearby when the shooting happened said the scene was"pure chaos."7 reporter Mitchell Downing.
