The man holding a power tool sprints down the residential street behind an officer in a high vis vest, before around a dozen officers are then seen arresting the man.
A force car can also be seen crashed in images from the scene this afternoon, the Scottish Sun reported. The street was locked down and people were urged to avoid the area ‘following a disturbance’. Police Scotland said: ‘Around 1pm on May 6, a disturbance involving a weapon occurred following a collision involving a car and a stationary police vehicle on Glasgow Road in Paisley.
