A bakery item sold in Aldi is being recalled due to a health risk. The Food Standards Agency has issued an alert, urging consumers not to eat the product.
The FSA said: "Signature Flatbreads UK is taking the precautionary step of recalling Village Bakery 8 Tortilla Wraps White because of a possible presence of metal, as the product may have been tampered with. The possible presence of metal makes this product unsafe to eat. The recall applies to Village Bakery 8 Tortilla Wraps White in a pack size of 8x62g. Products with a best before date up to and including April 29, 2024, are affected.
