Police looking for hit-and-run driver who hit pedestrian walking in street in Kearny Mesa [Breaking]
San Diego police are investigating a hit-and-run collision in the Kearny Mesa area that they said left a 37-year-old pedestrian with a brain bleed.
Officers responded to Copley Park Place near Ruffner Street around 11:45 p.m. on Tuesday and found a man suffering from head injuries and fractured ribs. Officers said the man had been walking in one of the eastbound lanes of the road when he was hit by a vehicle also heading east on Copley Park Place, police said.He was taken to a hospital to be treated. His injuries were not considered life threatening, police said.
There were no witnesses to the collision, and police said they did not have a description of the vehicle.
