The death is not believed to be suspicious
Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a man whose body was found in a garage in Nottingham. Officers were called to an address in Holden Street, Radford, at 1.15am on Sunday, March 17.
His death is not believed to be suspicious but investigations are ongoing. A police car and cordon were spotted on Sunday outside the garage. The block of garages is located behind a parade of shops and businesses on Alfreton Road. Photos of the scene showed one police car and two officers stationed outside the garage which was surrounded by blue police tape.A witness, who lives in a flat opposite, said they heard police sirens at around midnight. They said police had been searching a garage and through bags.
Detective Inspector Lisa Jones, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "Our thoughts are with this man's family and friends. "We have a team of detectives who are working to establish the circumstances and officers will continue to be in the area as they continue with their inquiries, speak with the local community and offer reassurance to residents in the area."
