Officers want to identify the man who fits the image after receiving a report of rape that took place in Conway Park, Fulwood
Detectives investigating a rape in Preston have released an Evo-fit image of a man they would like to identify as part of their investigation.
Earlier this year, Lancashire Constabulary received a report of a rape in Conway Park, Fulwood, which is thought to have occurred in July of 2022. In a statement last night , the force released an Evo-fit image of a man they want to speak to as part of their enquiries. People are being asked to check any footage, including mobile phone, CCTV, dashcam or doorbell from the time of the incident. Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should call police on 101.Det Con Freya Whelan, of Preston CID said: "Our investigation is ongoing, and we are appealing to find the identity of the man in the Evo-fit. If you are looking at this appeal, please take a close look at the image.
"If you recognise him, or have any footage, whether that be mobile phone, CCTV, dashcam or doorbell from that time that you believe may assist us in our investigation, I would encourage you to come forward."
