Police identify deputy, wounded assailant after shooting in Spring Valley [Breaking]
A sheriff’s deputy who shot and wounded a man investigators said threatened the deputy with a metal bar outside a Spring Valley-area home last week was identified publicly Tuesday.
Marac faces a maximum sentence of seven years in prison if convicted, said San Diego County District Attorney’s Office officials in an email. When deputies arrived, they were able to get three residents out of the house. The residents told deputies that Marac had threatened to kill everyone in their home, Campbell said.
