Police relayed an interdepartmental email Sept. 27 that several agencies were trying to identify the driver and occupants of a car that had a fictitious Delaware license plate. They were using counterfeit identifications to pick up cell phones at FedEx stores. An officer saw a Flock alert on that car at Engle and Bagley roads Sept. 27. Based on the email, he headed to FedEx. He saw the car back into a parking spot in front of FedEx. The car’s description matched that in the email.
