The chief rabbi says the lines between demonstrators and 'those who support the brutal terrorism of Hamas' had become 'badly blurred' ahead of a fourth weekend of rallies in London and elsewhere in the UK.
Police have removed a group of pro-Palestinian protesters from London's Trafalgar Square after fireworks were fired towards officers and into crowds. Scotland Yard said a dispersal order was authorised at 6.43pm on Saturday and would remain in place until 1am on Sunday. The Met Police said it had made 11 arrests during a fourth week of protests in central London. Thousands of demonstrators gathered in Trafalgar Square demanding a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war.
It follows reports tens of thousands of demonstrators are planning to take to the streets on 11 November to call for an immediate ceasefire, although organisers have promised to avoid Whitehall where the Cenotaph war memorial is located.
