Benches will now be removed from outside the community centre to try and stem the anti-social behaviour
West Lothian Council has had to remove public benches from outside a council building because of anti-social behaviour by teens.
Groups using the centre at night feel intimidated by the youths gathered at the benches outside shouting through the windows disturbing their meetings. He said he believed the youths involved were aged about 13 to 15 and said the gang disperses when a police van comes, but as soon as it leaves, they return.
Constable Ewan Hannay told the meeting: “Anything that has been reported will be taken very seriously.
