A cyclist has said he 'could have been killed' after being struck by a driver who then sped off from the scene in Hamilton.
Luckily Scott, from Uddingston, was helped by several motorists and passers-by, including an off-duty nurse, who witnessed the incident and stopped to help and call the emergency services.Police are now searching for the driver and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information on the incident to come forward.
"She then hit me side on, throwing me from my bike into the centre of the road. There's no way she didn't know she hit me. There's no way she couldn't have seen me. It was a full-impact collision.
