A 68-year-old male pedestrian was struck by a white Ford Puma car as he crossed the carriageway on the A721 Bellshill Road at the junction with Logans Road.
Lanarkshire Road Policing Department officers are appealing for information following a serious road crash on the A721 in Motherwell.
