Michigan Attorney General Targeted In Plot To Kill Jewish State Officials
early Thursday morning that the FBI confirmed to her that she was a target of Carpenter’s plot, noting “it is my sincere hope that the federal authorities take this offense just as seriously” as the state handles other plots to murder elected officials.
In other social media posts, Carpenter mentions he would target other public figures for “crimes against humanity,” including Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Anthony Fauci, Chris Cuomo, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla and Elon Musk—-whom Carpenter called to be “publicly hanged.” Carpenter previously worked as a systems administrator at the University of Michigan’s College of Literature, Science and the Arts, a university spokespersonCarpenter—-who had previously been arrested on assault charges in December—-has been charged with transmitting an interstate threat and could be sentenced to up to five years in federal prison.This is the second plot targeting Michigan government officials following a plot to kidnap and assassinate Whitmer in 2020.
47-year-old Barry Croft Jr. along with 13 others in October 2020 after an undercover mission in which officials were embedded among the suspects. He was later sentenced to 19 years in prison.
